Thunder on the Lake is the third film in the Thunder series. It was shot in Alaska, Ontario, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The series rests on one idea: people and the wild places they share, held in balance and shown without judgment. Here that place is the lake. Still water, low cloud, pines black against the evening.

The film is in national distribution with public television.
