Sports Illustrated photographer for 23 years, several of his photographs were selected for Sports Illustrated's 40 Best of All Time and The Century's Best Sports Photos. A contributor to Time, Newsweek, National Geographic, New York Magazine and many others, he has shot covers for some 200 publications worldwide and done commercial work for Coca-Cola, Kellogg's, Reebok, Easton and NASCAR IMAGES. With his current focus on outdoor photography Modra splits his time between Hollywood and Islamorada, Florida.
Among his many responsibilities, Steve stays in touch with all of our loyal PBS affiliates, working on programming schedules and times. He is also a big part of the creative process of the moving pictures, for both our nature documentaries and our dramas. But like the rest of the team, he is happiest in the field where he is one of the photogs.

A spirited part of the team from the outset, Zack has a natural eye for framing. Zack served as Director of Photography for the Hollywod award winning “Out of the Shadows” in 2003 and has been a part of the spirit of Mantis and Moon ever since.
After helping to secure one of Mantis and Moon’s first national distribution deals with NETA early on in his career, Chuy continues to serve as a pivotal part of both the practical workings and the creative team at Mantis and Moon.
Pat is the public relations liasion for Mantis and Moon, responsible for press relations and marketing projects. Her creative talent and positive energy are assets to the company. Stephen Roberts PhD, Pat's Husband, is part of our American narrative team.
