Way up north, where the winters are long and the summers are short, there is more wilderness than evidence of man.

But in recent times, no matter how remote the lake, robotic towers of steel appear on the horizon.

The animals observe, but are not afraid. They do not seem to be threatened.

They do not understand that it is not the tower that brings the danger, it is what comes next.
